Ryan Toohey : APAM / Physiotherapist
My Physio GESAC is pleased to welcome Ryan to our team this month.
Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at Latrobe University in 2016. After initially spending 2017 abroad, he has since been working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in a private practice setting.
Ryan has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation, treating sports injuries and getting his clients back to work and sport safely after a Workcover or TAC injury. Ryan likes to incorporate a variety of treatment techniques into his consultations, including massage, dry needling, hydrotherapy and exercise rehabilitation. He enjoys working closely with his clients to attain their rehabilitation goals, and likes to be very informative when discussing the contributing factors and healing times associated with the diagnosed injury.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys keeping fit and active by playing football, surfing and hiking. He recently drove around the circumference of Iceland where he was able to see the northern lights, glaciers and plenty of waterfalls. Ryan is also looking forward to getting a dog with his partner later in the year.
