How do we treat our patients?
We evaluate – Therapy at MYPHYSIO begins with a thorough assessment to help identify the factors contributing to your symptoms and support an accurate diagnosis. We then develop an individualised treatment plan designed to support your recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.
We educate – Our Physiotherapists will help you understand the factors contributing to your condition and discuss the steps that may assist in managing your symptoms and achieving your goals. We encourage patients to ask questions throughout their care so they can make informed decisions about their treatment.
We treat – Your personalised treatment plan is delivered by our experienced Physiotherapists. Depending on your needs, treatment may include Joint Mobilisation, Massage, Aquatic Physiotherapy (Hydrotherapy), Postural Correction, Stretches and Strengthening, Dry Needling, Activity and Equipment Modification.
We prevent – In addition to helping patients manage their current concerns, we focus on reducing the likelihood of future injuries and recurring symptoms. Through education, movement strategies, activity modification and targeted strengthening programs, we aim to support long-term physical health and function.

When Should You See a Physiotherapist?
Many people wait until pain or an injury begins affecting their daily activities before seeking treatment. However, Physiotherapy may be beneficial at various stages of recovery, from managing a recent injury to addressing ongoing aches, movement restrictions or recurring problems.
You may benefit from seeing a Physiotherapist if you are experiencing:
- Back or neck pain
- Sports or exercise-related injuries
- Joint, muscle or tendon pain
- Reduced mobility or stiffness
- Difficulties returning to work, sport or everyday activities following an injury
- Recovery following surgery
- Recurring injuries or concerns about injury prevention
Early assessment can help identify factors contributing to your symptoms and provide guidance on appropriate management strategies. Our Physiotherapists take the time to understand your concerns and work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

What to Expect During Your Physiotherapy Appointment
Your first appointment is designed to help us understand your concerns, goals and overall health. We begin with a discussion about your symptoms, medical history and daily activities, followed by a physical assessment as appropriate.
Following your assessment, we will explain our findings, discuss suitable treatment options and work with you to develop a personalised management plan. Depending on your needs, this may include hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, movement retraining and practical strategies to support your recovery between appointments.

Supporting Long-Term Recovery and Injury Prevention

Our team is committed to helping patients develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage their condition over time. Through education, exercise and practical self-management strategies, we aim to support long-term movement, function and participation in everyday activities.
