Warrick Pearson APAM
APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Warrick has more than 20 years experience as a Physiotherapist, and has completed a Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy. In addition to his roles as Lead Clinician and Director of My Physio, he has elite sports involvement with the VIS Sailing program and the Australian Sailing Team. A generalist at heart, he has a particular interest in spinal, hip and shoulder pain as well as injury prevention for active adults, adolescents and children. He is currently growing his focus on adolescent athletes through the development of sports specific Musculoskeletal Screening tools, Strength and Conditioning and injury prevention programs, as well as Dance/Pre-Pointe assessment. He has completed the APA Level 3 Sports qualification, and is completing his qualification as a Strength and Conditioning coach.

 


Jacquie Dundee APAM
APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jacquie is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She has a Masters degree in the assessment and treatment of complex muscle and joint problems, allowing her to manage and treat more complicated or sensitive problems including headache and dizziness with a musculoskeletal origin. Jacquie also has several years’ experience in taking clinical pilates classes. Her treatment may include manual techniques, dry needling, exercise prescription and progression, and posture/movement correction.

Karen Chang
Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

Karen, formerly of McKinnon Sports Medicine and Practice Principal at McKinnon Physiotherapy, is our latest team member. She has been working in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the past 14 years and has been servicing the Bentleigh area for the past 8 years.
Karen’s special interest includes neck and back pain, women's health, work injuries and injury prevention. She is a strong manual therapist and utilises dry needling techniques in the treatment of myofascial pain. Karen has been instrumental in the development of our Mums and Bubs Pilates program at My Physio.

Krystal Weir APAM

Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

Krystal commeneced her role with My Physio in 2015 after completing her Master of Physiotherpay at Sydney University. Her passion and enthusiasm for sport has led her into private practice. She is an APPI qualified Pilates Instructor, and has Dry Needling qualifications. She has a keen interest in working with adolescents and enjoys the Hydrotherapy and Mums and Bubs pilates classes that she leads.

Krystal is a dual Olympian, representing Australia in Sailing in 2008 and 2012. She won the Open Women's Laser Radial World Championship in 2004, and is the current Hobie 16 Women's World champion.She remains active as a sailing coach and athlete, and enjoys running, hockey and cycling.


Donna Calella - Remedial Massage Therapist

Donna is a Remedial Massage Therapist and has had over 16 years clinical experience specialising in Sports therapy and Remedial massage.

Donna is passionate about assisting the development and maintenance of professional athletes, and has worked with high profile sports including Australian Open Tennis, AFL - North Melbourne & Carlton, Wallabies, Australian Road Cycling teams - Drapac and Charter Mason. She is currently working with the elite gymnastics squad of the Women's Victorian High Performance Centre. She also holds a lecturing position with the Southern School of Natural Therapies.

Peita Chrisanthou - Remedial Massage Therapist

Peita is a registered Massage Therapist with the AAMT and is experienced in the areas of Remedial, Sports and Relaxation Massage as well as lymphatic drainage. Peita draws on her background in Health and Fitness as a Personal Trainer, to provide a holistic approach to prevention, correction and rehabilitation. She is passionate about her work, and ongoing education, and is currently completing a bachelor of Health in Musculoskeletal Therapy. She is a dedicated, people focused practitioner. In addition to private clients Peita works with TAC, Workcover and ComCare as well.

Beyond massage, Peita enjoys dance, acrobatics and Pilates.

Chris Alexander - Exercise Physiologist/Exercise Scientist

Chris Alexander is an accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist. He has been specialising in developing safe and effective exercise for people with chronic conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, work conditioning and improving sports performance for individuals and teams. With over 15 years’ experience he is highly motivated by his patients achieving their individual results. He has a close a close working relationship with many GP practices. Chris is also heavily entrenched in the fitness industry and is part of the Industry Development team at Fitness Australia.

Accredited Practising Dietician & Sports Dietitian

Silva Nazaretian is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a Sports Dietitian. She is the Director of Moderate Nutrition Services where she provides personal and individual nutrition consultations to patients in clinics located across Melbourne . Silva’s particular fields of interests include the nutritional management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, weight management, gastrointestinal disorders and sports nutrition. Silva also holds sessional lecturing positions at Victoria University, YMCA and the Institute of Health and Fitness. Silva is passionate about providing individuals of all ages with the necessary knowledge and tools to empower her patients to make healthy and informed decisions and achieve a healthy and nutritionally balanced lifestyle.
